Facebook, Instagram, tumblr, bloggers, and any other form of social media is spammed with selfies every minute of every hour of every day. Why are people so intrigued with the selfie? Today is supposed to be 40 degrees. We don't really get that kind of heat where I'm from…I can barely handle the sun in the 20s! As a summer baby though, I love the beach; the solution to a hot day. With days like today, the beach is the only place to be! So what am I packing?

Luckily I'm not high maintenance so I'm okay with camping and being in the woods but I actually don't have much experience with it; growing up a true west coast Canadian though, I'm all in for roughing it for a few days! The weekend should be adventure filled with fishing, swimming, campfires, and hot dogs! Since I'm a rookie, I thought I would break it down before I pack so here you go...the essentials of camping:
